Iran signed deals with a dozen European companies including Spanish Cepsa and Italian Eni to rent 35 oil tankers to them for oil transits, said managing director of the National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC).

Sirous Kianersi added that the all of 35 deals are voyage charter, Mehr News Agency reported.
In January, three Iranian supertankers reached Europe.
After several years of suspension of Iranian oil tankers from calling at EU ports due to sanctions, the first Iranian oil ship reached Spain's Algeciras while two other Iranian tankers also left the Persian Gulf for the Netherlands.
Iran's oil exports to the EU reached 622,581 barrels a day in January, according to Bloomberg's calculations.
